Gardena Aquazoom 350/T Oscillating Sprinkler #31979-6

$50.57

This innovative oscillating sprinkler design can water medium-to-large yards, is fully adjustable, and comes with a built-in timer and flow control mechanisms. While many oscillating sprinklers allow you to adjust the range of the spray, this one also provides adjustments for controlling the width and the water flow. At the highest water pressure (56 psi), the width can be adjusted from 13 to 56 feet and the range from 23 to 69 feet. At low water pressure (28 psi), the width can be set from 11-1/2 to 47-1/2 feet and the range from 19-1/2 to 56.7 feet. The timer allows you to select watering times from 15 to 120 minutes, or it can be bypassed for constant flow. Gardena includes its Quick Connector hose adapter for easy time-saving hose changes and a special needle for keeping spray nozzles clean. The Aquazoom provides all the versatility and design features you could ask for in an oscillating sprinkler.

  • Aquazoom
  • For watering rectangular or squared garden areas (e.g. lawns and vegetables)
  • Infinately adjustable width of spray and range of spray allows individual garden watering
  • Encapsulated, dirt protected sprinkler gear for a longer life
  • Multi-stage driven gear for uniform water distribution in each oscilllating range

Great Sprinkler! - I have a really, really, really old sprinkler (20 years?) that I ve finally retired in favor of this new sprinkler from Gardena. I wish I had bought one sooner! First the positives - this unit really works well, from timed sprinkling, to fan width, even volume and angle controls this unit has everything I could want. I will recommend this to anyone.OK, the negative. Singular. Only one thing I would tell Gardena to change and that is the base/bottom frame. What were they thinking by making this out of so thin a plastic? The plastic is ok (what isn t these days! and besides no rust!) but why design a part that is clearly flimsy? Even with higher oil costs, the cost of the raw plastic in this base probably costs Gardena about $.18 - $.25. Gardena could easily increase this by double and call it a Heavy Duty model and add another $2.50 to the price. (hint, hint Gardena)Bottom line, should you own one? Absolutely.

Not a long-term sprinkler - This was a great sprinkler for two years, soaking a 60 x 40 area. Then at about 2 years, the rubber nozzles started degrading, decreasing the spray area. (Even though I used their cleaning tool, it didn t help.) Then by 3 years the water started gurgling out from the base of the rubber nozzles at one end, dramatically reducing the water flow through the nozzles. Then it would cover an area about 10 x 15, and would leak the majority of the water directly onto the ground underneath. You can t expect rubber and plastic sprinklers to last very long. This sprinkler was pampered -- never physically damaged and stored in the garage when it wasn t being used. Go with brass instead.

Good Idea - The product is as advertised. It has many features, but the automatic shutoff is not useful in practice as it would seem. It puts a great pressure on the garden hose if not manually shut off right away. It also can spray you if the pressure is not released before the sprinkler is disconnected.I like the ease of adjusting the sprinkler. Those work well and are very easy to get like I want them.

Excellent Product - Highly Recommended. - This is a Great Oscillating sprinkler. Simply smooth operation with maximum control on the length, breadth and flow of the water. Built-In Manual timer is a big plus. I used melnor & orbit s 3900 Sqft range sprinklers and they broke shortly after couple of months of usage. The Gardena sprinkler, I now have it adjusted to where it adds water to every inch of my Yard. No Leaks at any points, distributes water evenly. Saves more water. The Sprinkler is big when compared to normal sprinklers. I like the height as it can sit on top of the Turf and oscillate properly, due to low heights also, sometimes the oscillating gears might get messed up on other sprinklers.Highly Recommended.

Excellent Sprinkler - I bought this sprinkler last summer and I used it all through till fall and this year we took it out again in springtime and it s still going strong. We have an irregular shaped front yard with a walking path at the end of it and a little path of grass after that to the curb, we can adjust and customize the spray of this sprinkler to suit our needs. I may have gotten a good piece or I just use it differently but mine has not stopped working even once, it doesnt stick at all. We keep it in the yard attached to the hose and bring it in when it starts to turn chilly in the fall, it doenst get much handling other than when we move it to a different spot. I have tried one other sprinkler and was not too happy with the coverage. This one gives excellent coverage and is very easy to change the spray width and intensity on. Overall a good sprinkler.
